Since the spring of 2002, people in Abbotsford have been enjoying the culinary delights of Presto Cucina with gusto, generous servings, and above all, the beckoning smell of fresh garlic.
We describe ourselves as as “Italian Casual,” offering the best of Rustic Pizzas, Presto Pastas and Salads in a cooked to order, quick service style. This innovative service style allows our guests to control how much time they commit to lunch or dinner.
With four locations now in the Lower Mainland, Presto Cucina is attracting quite a following.
Folks pick up on the smell of garlic, and they are in the door! It’s all about food, freshness and taste. It’s Italian with energy, smiles and a dining out difference.
Averaging between 60 and 80 seats, the restaurants have a decidedly Mediterranean feel, with lots of touches that make it distinctively different. There are walls of natural brick, Portugese cork tiled floors, natural wood tones and warm lighting, with whimsical art that reinforces the Italian theme. The kitchen, where cooks deliver on Presto’s hurry-up promise, is open to view.
Prices range from $6.99 to $14.99 for the freshest best in food. The warm spinach salad, with spinach and basil leaves, red onion, feta cheese, toasted pine nuts and light balsamic vinaigrette, is almost famous. But so too are great traditional dishes like Fettucine Alfredo, Italian Sausage Rustica and of course, the Spaghetti and Meatballs. If you’re into lasagna, Presto has it in a hurry with lots of ricotta, mozzarella and parmesan cheeses.
Pizzas? Try the fabulous Garlic Chicken with mushrooms and tomatoes. For dessert there are many options. The Crème Brulee Cheesecake is extra special, generously topped with freshly whipped cream and grated chocolate. For a more traditional after dinner (or anytime) treat, Gelato Gelato is right next door offering 24 flavours of Italian Gelato and Sorbetto. Made with natural ingredients and less fat than regular ice cream, Gelato is the perfect finish to a great meal.
